Mary has been a professional comedy TV writer for 30 years. Dozens of her episodes have aired on both network and cable series, and she’s sold original pilot scripts to major studios.
In addition to her television career, Mary has taught creative writing at New York University and screenwriting at Emerson College. But she considers her most valuable teacher-training to be the decades she spent collaborating in writers’ rooms on 15 different TV series.
Mary splits her time between Los Angeles and her native Dorchester, where she now lives in a bigger house than the one she grew up in.
