Boston’s Premier Destination for Improv Comedy
Looking for the best improv and comedy shows in Boston? You’ve found it at Improv Asylum! Since 1998, our theater has delivered unforgettable comedy experiences, making us a staple of Boston’s North End entertainment scene. Founded by comedy visionaries Paul D’Amato, Norm Laviolette, and Chet Harding, Improv Asylum continues to innovate and entertain, delighting audiences every week.
Temporary Move: The Show Must Go On!
In case you missed the news, our beloved North End theater recently experienced flooding. It’s not ideal, but we’re turning lemons into laughter. Here’s the good news: we’re not closed! Improv Asylum is temporarily relocating to Boston’s Theater District. You can now catch your favorite comedy shows at Lil Chuck, another fantastic basement theater space located at 74 Warren St.
Even better? We’re using this opportunity to renovate and upgrade our original home. Later this year, we’ll be back in the North End with a fresh, improved Improv Asylum experience!
