Parking – Boston

Parking is a major issue in the North End. Please allow yourself plenty of time for parking. The closest parking garages are near Haymarket and Faneuil Hall and there are some open lots on Commercial St. in the North End (all are only a short walk to the theater).

Validated Parking

Improv Asylum validates parking at the Parcel 7 Garage (formerly the Sudbury Garage). This is the newest garage in Haymarket. It is a red brick building directly above the T station (not the one at the bus station). This one is in the Farmer’s Market across from the Holocaust Memorial.

Here’s how it works…

Bring your parking ticket to our box office to get stamped. Then turn in the stamped ticket when you leave the garage. The rates are:

$1.00 for up to 2 hours or $3.00 for 3 hours

Don’t forget to bring your parking ticket to the box office for validation stamp!

Please note: the VALIDATION IS VOID AFTER 3 HOURS: Parkers will then be charged the regular rate of $5.00 per hour for the FULL TIME the vehicle was parked there.

Directions from Parcel 7 Garage

To get to Improv Asylum from the Parcel 7 Garage, take the elevator down to the ground level and turn left as you exit the garage. You will be on Hanover Street. That will take you right to our door. . . follow it about a block or so. As soon as you cross Cross Street, we are about 1/2 a block down on your left. From the garage to our door it is about a 2-3 minute walk.
