Directions – Boston

Please keep in mind that these directions are to our door. Parking in the North End is extremely limited. You should plan at least an extra 30 minutes to find parking.

We do, however, validate at the Parcel 7 Garage, formerly the Sudbury Garage. Information on the garage and validation is after these directions.

Improv Asylum is easily accessible via public transportation, Route 93 and the Mass Pike. You can use the general directions below or mapquest us from your exact address by click here.

From the South:
Take 93 North to Exit 23 (Government Center). This is the first exit in the tunnel. Stay in the right lane. At the light, turn right on Hanover. We are the fourth door on the left, 216 Hanover Street.

From Mass Pike:
Take Mass Pike to 93 North. Take 93 North to Exit 23 (Government Center). This is the first exit in the tunnel. Stay in the right lane. At the light, turn right onto Hanover. We are the fourth door on the left, 216 Hanover Street.

From the North:
Take 93 South to the Government Center exit (#24A). As you come off the ramp, take a left towards the North End and take another immediate left. There will be a set of lights about 50 feet away – take a left there onto Atlantic. At the next light take a right onto Hanover. We are the fourth door on the left, 216 Hanover Street.

From Storrow Drive:
Take Storrow Drive to end. Get off at North Station/Fleet Center (Before ramp for Route 93—DO NOT GET ONTO ROUTE 93). Take a left at the first light onto Causeway Street. In approximately one mile, Causeway Street turns into Commercial Street. Go about 1/4 of a mile and turn right onto Hanover Street. We are at the other end of Hanover Street (about 8 blocks down) on the right.

Via the T:
Red line to Park Street, switch to greenline to Haymarket.

Green and Orange line to Haymarket
Take the T to Haymarket Station. Exit through the Green Line entrance. When you come up the escalator, turn right and follow the road – it bears left and then you come out at Cross Street. Turn right on Cross Street (you will pass Martignetti’s Liquor Store on your left) and take the next left onto Hanover. We are half a block down on the left, 216 Hanover Street.

If you feel like you’re getting lost, stop in a store and ask a merchant how to get to the North End. Then follow the directions from Cross Street.
